Relocation from ‘Robertson House’, to ‘Abel Smith House’.
Blu Building Consultants were appointed to manage the relocation of circa 130 staff and their associated equipment, storage, and workstations from an adjacent site. The project scope firstly involved the management of the client fit out of the new demise. It was important to the client to maintain business continuity therefore this required careful coordination with all teams.
The role allowed for the management of all the clients steering group meetings with various stakeholder’s including, executive directors, landlord, clinical leads and nursing teams. Matters discussed included discussions on how lease agreements and legal responsibilities for the new tenants could be improved, establishing good access and function including telephone, WiFi and car parking to the new building.
Our project manager also led on the design and selection of furniture and signage for the fit-out elements, as well as assisting on development of new Health and Safety and Fire operational policies etc. for our client team.

Really great work Jamie. I have suggested that we take the learning from the methodology you led with in this programme, across a wide range of initiatives.
Thank you again for all your hard work.
