Following a detailed tender process ‘Britplas’ were awarded the contract to replace all existing bedroom windows using their latest window for use in MH environments including solar glass and interstitial electric blinds.

The facility remained at full capacity throughout the programme of works and therefore it was important that the installers completed and handed back 2 x windows everyday.

Through good communication with ward staff the programme of work was successfully delivered on time and on budget with zero Health and Safety incidents.

The scheme was traditionally tendered and awarded to the main contractor ‘Britplas’ using the NHS contract and T&C for supply of services.

‘Blu’ were appointed as client side project managers, H&S advisors and Clerk of Works and delivered the minor project from inception to completion.
