Waltham Cross Health Centre – major internal refurbishment
The property is a HCT freehold site within the borough of Broxbourne. The building is a detached two storey Community Health Centre built in the 1950s.
The building is in desperate need of modernising and the planned refurbishment will optimise the internal layout for a variety of Community Health Services bringing the entire building up to current design standards. The completed project will benefit the local community for many years to come.
The adaptations create a series of compliant consultant and treatment rooms all with the required ventilation standards. The new flexible layout will allow the building to be zoned if required with separate access/egress routes and sub waiting areas provided.
The scheme is to be delivered using the SCAPE framework and the regional contractor ‘Conamar’.
‘Blu’ are appointed as client-side project managers, Client Health and Safety advisors and NEC Supervisor from inception to completion.
