Blu Building Consultants sponsored and attended the event as part of their Corporate & Social Responsibility
Keen to maintain its corporate and social responsibility Blu Building Consultancy sponsored and attended the Keech Hospice 5K Colour Dash run, an exciting and colourful event that was organised to support the ongoing development of Keech Hospice Care.
Hospices are integral all over the United Kingdom, and Keech Hospice Care is no exception. As well as being essential to caring for and nurturing adults and children, Keech Hospice also ensures that friends and family are supported during difficult times.
Although the event was arranged to provide fun and laughter for the local community, its primary goal was to raise funds to ensure that the excellent work carried out by Keech Hospice Care can continue. As always there was a great turnout, the target was achieved, and a fantastic day was had by everyone involved.
What is the Keech Hospice 5K Run Colour Dash?
The Keech Hospice 5K run is an annual event that sees runners navigate a 5km area while being bombarded with coloured powder. Although many run for charity, those wanting to enjoy a new take on running that is fun and ideal for supporting a local cause, the Colour Dash is an event that is fun for all the family.
Although a messy ordeal, the opportunity to raise money for Keech Hospice had to be embraced, which is why Blu Building Consultants was keen to sponsor the event and participate.
Keech Hospice is a charitable organisation that provides care to adults and children, helps them understand what is happening, and enriches their lifestyle. As Keech Hospice is a charity, it relies on donations to operate. Fortunately, events like the 5K Colour Dash run and the support it receives ensures Keech Hospice can continue to provide their much-needed service.
The Community Remains an Integral Part of Fundraising
Although sponsorship and organisation are essential components of fundraising, so is community participation. The Keech Hospice 5K Colour Dash run has been an annual event for several years, and the reason for its popularity is due to a caring and giving community.
Organising events also allows people to make a difference. Because of the joint effort, charities like the Keech Hospice can develop and prosper when they support sick children and adults in the area.
The importance of organisations like this is why Blu Building Consultants are passionate about the work we undertake regarding NHS Shared Business Services and are keen to promote the importance of business charity partnerships.
Events like the 5K Colour Dash run not only allow for vital funds to be raised for an essential charity but also make the community aware of the positive actions being taken in the area and how their help makes the caring of sick children and adults in comfortable surroundings possible.
Blu Building Consultants hopes the success of the 5K Colour Dash run continues and will keep offering its support and aim to help other fundraising projects in the future.
