Inpatient ward refurbishment

The project involved internally refurbishing a vacant inpatient ward, on an acute hospital into an outpatient facility, for Child and Adolescent Service users (CAMH). CAMH had become displaced from their previous building due to a local regeneration scheme and thus needed to be decanted to another site that would continue to meet the demands of their service users.

The scope included: Safety and Security improvements, Creation of 3 additional consulting rooms, internal décor improvements, Signage, Backlog maintenance improvements, IT/data infrastructure, Decant of clinical team and their Furniture and Equipment to new site without incurring any service downtime.

The scheme was delivered using the P21+ Small works route and therefore NEC form of contract was used.
Completion date – Autumn 2015
